An ode to our island home, our Spring collection Paradise explores the beautiful coastline that we are so lucky to be surrounded by. With a recent trip to the Sunshine state our design teams endless love affair for the Aussie coast is stronger than ever. Rejoicing at the idea of travel again we are obsessed with this Paradise landscape we get to call home.
Paradise forms part 1 of our Spring collection and celebrates the time of year we all love the most. Spring time in Australia means warmer days ahead, new beginnings and new life.
Miniature florals and a limited collection of navy striped linen are the print hero’s in this release. We have brought back to life everyone’s favourite Claudine mini and our longer sell out style Mirabel.
At the forefront of all our collections is our sustainability journey and using materials that have a far more positive impact. Our entire Paradise collection has been sewn with Mother Nature in mind with every single design using natural fibres. Our navy stripe print is 100% linen, grown with minimal water, is antibacterial, antimicrobial and breathable. We cannot sing praise enough for this fabric and the flax plant. Incredibly hardy, linen plants can be grown anywhere and use fewer pesticides to thrive – they are even known to improve soil quality, continuing to give back.
Paradise evokes a joyful state, and we have been busting at the seams to share these pieces and happiness with you. A special shout out to Mietta Podbury and Brigitte McDonald who helped bring this story to life. Louley is a small and independent label that loves supporting other female founded businesses and start ups.
